UNDP and Eco-Art for children
Flexi’s Journey is a storytelling-based creative workshop for children, developed by Eco-Art Studio and delivered in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Serbia. Through an imaginative, hands-on experience, the workshop teaches children about the life cycle of plastic waste and its transformation into microplastics, helping the next generation become environmental stewards through creativity.

Project
Flexi’s Journey: Eco-Art Workshop for UNDP
Brief
Project Overview
Designed to align with UNDP's sustainability goals, Flexi’s Journey uses eco-art pedagogy to engage children aged 8–10 in the environmental impact of everyday plastic use. The workshop centers around an illustrated and narrated story of Flexi, a plastic bottle that accidentally ends up on an ecological journey from a city park to a river, into marine life, and finally (shockingly) onto a dinner plate.
Each chapter of the story is followed by interactive reflection questions and culminates in a collaborative art-making session where children visually reinterpret Flexi’s journey using recycled materials. The workshop took place at the European House in Belgrade, bringing together creativity, science, and emotional engagement to plant seeds of responsibility and imagination in young minds.
